Intimate Relationships Training
onboard a luxury 12m catamaran cruising
two of Australia's most stunningly
beautiful
sailing areas.
Two workshops are available — one
at Hervey Bay, famous for its
whales, and
one in the Whitsundays, where the coral
snorkeling and island
exploring is superb.
Each
training is for for three participating couples (own queen-size cabins)
and both trainings are fully catered.
Dorset offers the Intimate Relationships Training for 3 hours every
morning unless sailing / weather conditions prompt us to move
the session to
the afternoon. The training is structured, yet flexible, to meet the
needs of all those taking part.
The rest of the time will be spent actually living NVC - putting into
practice in daily life the principles and process of NVC - and enjoying
ourselves. There will be opportunities for meditation, yoga and exercise
as well as learning sailing, coral snorkeling, exploring uninhabited
islands, fishing, swimming and simply relaxing and enjoying. Dorset
will be available for NVC coaching and empathy should any participants
request
this.
There will be a daily meeting of all on board for celebrations
and mournings to ensure that everyone's needs are met throughout the
journey
David Clayton, our experienced skipper, has 15 years experience
in taking folks out on sailing boats. As a creator of Marine Parks
in
Coffs Harbour
and Western Australia he has a wealth of information about the sea
and all marine wildlife. He is always happy to share his knowledge,
including
teaching sailing to those interested.
Our
catamaran will be either an Elite 12 (Whitsundays) or the Velella (Hervey
Bay).

To receive the maximum benefit from this course, Dorset suggests familiarity with the basic principles of NVC. There are several ways to achieve this, and if you can attend a Foundation Training, that would be ideal. However, there are other avenues which Dorset is happy to discuss.
